Kolby Krystofik

Hi I'm Kolby, and I am super passionate about health and fitness and would love to share my love for the outdoors with you. I am a teacher at heart and my goal will always be to add value to your life. I grew up around sports my entire life, but it wasn't until my college years that I discovered my passion to share fitness with others and learned a lot about how I can best do that.

The past 6 years I have been building my passions and finding useful and relevant information to pass on to others. I graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in Sports Medicine and have studied under Michael Anderson of CrossFit Malibu, where I am currently a CrossFit instructor. I have also fallen in love with the ocean and surfing after playing water polo for Pepperdine. In addition to being an instructor, I am also an Ocean Lifeguard for The County of Los Angeles in Malibu. Spending most of my summers at the beaches keeping an eye out for beach patrons and learning more about the awesome power of the ocean.

If you want to see more play in your life, follow me on the road to better health.

Aloha! I'm Liz, the other half to Kolby and am so excited to share living in wellness with all who we come in contact with. I'm Colorado raised but naturally hydrophilic (drawn to the water ;)) so the Californian coast instantly stole my heart as soon as I came out to attend school at Pepperdine. Studying Sports Medicine and Coaching combined with my love of being active and outdoors led me to want to help lead others through finding health, wellness, and fitness in their own lives. Since graduating I've spent some time surfing and serving in Hawaii as well as lifeguarding and working with families doing swim, surf, ocean safety lessons and personal training here in Malibu. My next goal is to get my yoga teacher training certification and share not only physical fitness but mental health with others. Together with Kolby, we're stoked to have YOU join us on the Road to Better Health!

Jordan Smith

Hi, I'm Jordan. I love spending time outdoors adventuring with my wife, Mandee! I enjoy good coffee and street tacos, and I am truly passionate about helping people reach their health and fitness goals. Whether you're new to fitness or a seasoned athlete, I am here for you.

I grew up playing sports, becoming especially competitive in basketball, and have always enjoyed being active outdoors. I graduated from Pepperdine University in 2013 with a B.A. in Sports Medicine and a minor in Coaching and completed an internship at CrossFit Malibu. I used to think that Pepperdine was where my passion for health and wellness took hold, but looking back, I've realized that it has been grown and refined since I was young. I have coached basketball teams and ran large youth camps. I've worked at an orphanage in Haiti. I've been a public school behavior coach. I've launched and managed a youth fitness program, and I have been a CrossFit coach and personal trainer for the past 7 years. All these different experiences have not only helped refine my skills and passion for coaching, they point to something at the core of who I am: I love helping people along their journeys to a healthier life!

EXOS Performance Specialist (XPS)

CrossFit - Level 1 Certificate

Hi there! I’m Erin and I am stoked to be a part of this team.

I value empowering others in the areas of physical, mental, and spiritual health. My biggest passion lies in the grey areas of returning and overcoming injury. Having gone through it myself, I love walking beside others as they overcome physical adversity to discover unique and intuitive ways to be child-like and play!

I was born and raised in Singapore and have since lived in Malibu, and now Denver, Colorado. I grew up active, being involved in both sports and music; I have played soccer and been a percussionist all my life! I graduated from Pepperdine University in 2016 with a degree in Sports Medicine and my time there set the fire for the coaching journey I am on today. I never thought I would enjoy coaching as much as I do now, and I wake up every morning excited to help others discover their best selves. Truly, the greatest gift is witnessing a person leave a session better than when they came in.

My background includes an internship with EXOS LA, an elite sports performance facility, where I worked with athletes from the NFL, Pro Soccer, Pro Tennis etc., as well as high school athletes and weekend warriors. I was also one of two selected interns to work with the LA Galaxy in their Strength and Conditioning Program.

I am currently a performance coach at Landow Performance, CO. where I work with ages ranging 6 to 82, and with populations ranging from Professional; to youth; to special populations such as Lupus and Spinal Cord Injuries.

In my pursuit to give others the best quality of care, I am also planning to pursue my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in the near future.
